jamie Makes me wish we lived in a world where this video game existed! Creates really vivid level design imagery and is also incredibly charming with all it's little personal touches. Favorite track: Palace.

bignostromo An absolute delight from start to finish, I love all the little melodies and instruments that hint at characters, settings and events and the way you can picture the level there before you. Takes me right back to growing up with games like Pokemon, Jak & Daxter, Ratchet and Clank and Little Big Planet. What a treat. Favorite track: Forest.

about

Written and performed live on twitch.tv/jivvers across several months, this album is essentially an imaginary journey through worlds within a video game that does not exist. Through open discussion with members of the community, story ideas and landscapes were formed.

Collective ideas included a hairdresser character, a storm, a huge anthropomorphic raindrop boss and a variety of other encounters the player might experience along the way.

Most of the album is largely influenced by personal experiences of adventure and platform games. Each track intends to create an atmosphere of a particular level of this non existent game itself. The sound of each world or area is created and the rest is left up to the audience to interpret. The track names are merely there as a starting point for your imagination.

The album cover art was in fact created by one of the members of the community Will Gisby who got in touch through their love for the project. Bonus items have been included to show some of the cover art process as well.

A huge thank you to all the people who took part in the development of this project and the ideas they brought to the table live on twitch.tv/jivvers.
